Iguanodon was a typical iguanodont dinosaur. It was quite widespread around the world, living in England, Europe, North America and Asia. It lived from the Late Jurassic period into the earlier parts of the Late Cretaceous. It was prey to carnivores like Baryonyx and dromaeosaurs. To protect itself from carnivores, it could use its huge claws, similar to that of prosauropods and other sauropodmorphs.
